Since this year, grass-roots staff have been working hard to fight against the COVID-19, flood control, and the establishment of a civilized city. To express gratitude for their hard work, the Jiangsu Qinhuai District Branch of the China Democratic Construction Association organized a series of activities to send coolness and comfort to grassroots sanitation workers, urban management staff, and others.

   On the afternoon of August 28th, the Sheng Qinghe Charity Foundation of the Qinhuai District Branch of the China Democratic Construction Association purchased a batch of heatstroke prevention and cooling supplies, and invited Chen Dingrong, the full-time vice chairman of the Nanjing Municipal Committee of the China Democratic Construction Association, and Dai Xin, a standing committee member of the Qinhuai District Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, to visit Ruijin Road Street to comfort urban management staff. Since August, urban management staff have been working overtime under the scorching heat to promote the creation of civilized cities and the centralized safety improvement of electric bicycles, making great contributions to achieving results in the work. Vice Chairman Chen Dingrong, Minister Dai Xin, and other leaders presented condolences to the urban management staff, thanking them for their perseverance and dedication under high temperatures. They reminded them to pay attention to heatstroke prevention and cooling, take care of their health, and encouraged them to continue to carry forward the style of not fearing hardship and fatigue, and to continue to do their job well.
