Love Qinhuai for generations to come

Dear leaders and guests, good afternoon. It is an honor to speak on behalf of caring enterprises at the founding ceremony of Qinhuai District Charity Association.

  At the beginning of human life, nature is inherently good. Everyone has a kind heart from the moment they are born. If poor, one should focus solely on oneself; if successful, one should also benefit the world. It is also the sublimation of our traditional Chinese morality. Ms. Zhu Shengqing, the founder of Shengqinghe Chemical, often whispered in our ears during her lifetime, "One family works hard, one hundred households work hard." She was once a model representative of Nanjing female commercial workers during the public-private partnership in 1956 and was received by Chairman Mao Zedong and Premier Zhou in Beijing. After retiring from Nanjing Huayuan Company in 1984, she donated all the profits of the first year of reopening the Dazhongqiao paint shop, which amounted to 10000 yuan, to the Confucius Temple Elderly Care Home. Since then, she has also persisted in public welfare activities such as comforting lonely elderly people every year. Under her example, Shengqinghe Chemical changed its name in 1998 and has developed a small company with 8 employees and an annual turnover of 2 million yuan into a chemical company with 40 employees and an annual turnover of over 100 million yuan. While being a professional supplier, we have not forgotten our social responsibility as an old enterprise in Qinhuai. Since 1998, we have been working towards the Hope Light, Gesanghua Caring mothers and other non-governmental organizations have donated a total of 20000 yuan, and have donated over 20000 yuan to various streets in Qinhuai to support impoverished children and families. We have donated a total of 50000 yuan to the "Source of Thought Project" of the Nanjing Municipal Committee of the China Democratic Construction Association, which will be used for assistance in the Wenchuan earthquake and care for impoverished rural fertility. From 2009 to 2014, a total of 500000 yuan was donated to the Nanjing Zixingtang Rehabilitation Center for Deaf Children, providing rehabilitation education for 64 deaf children. In 2016, we jointly established the "Minjian Shengqinghe Charity Fund" with Minjian Nanjing Qinhuai Branch, Nanjing Charity Association, and Qinhuai District Civil Affairs Bureau, providing 100000 yuan annually for 10 consecutive years, totaling about 1 million yuan. Mainly used for educational assistance, poverty alleviation, disability assistance, natural disaster relief, and civil construction projects.

Although what Shengqinghe Chemical has done is insignificant in the entire charity cause in Qinhuai District, all employees of Shengqinghe Chemical will definitely pass on this love for generations and add a little warmth to our charity cause.

 Under the strong advocacy and standardized management of the Party and the government, as well as the diligent work and correct leadership of Qinhuai Civil Affairs, we believe that more caring enterprises and philanthropists will actively participate in this selfless and happy cause. The small streams of public welfare in Qinhuai District will surely gather into a sea of love, benefiting thousands of households in need.

The Qinhuai River, where the flower of love blooms, will surely thrive even more.
