The highest drop is 50%! "Silver ten" end, nearly 90 kinds of chemicals down! Crude oil is falling again and thousands of businesses are closing down!
Crude oil falls nearly 2 percent
The risk that the conflict between Israel and Hamas may lead to the interruption of crude oil supply continues to weaken. On Tuesday (October 31), European and American crude oil futures continued to fall, and WTI first month futures fell to the lowest price since August 28. The December 2023 futures settlement price of West Texas light crude oil on the New York Mercantile Exchange was 81.02 US dollars per barrel, down 1.29 US dollars, or 1.57 percent, from the previous trading day, with a trading range of 80.74-83.37 US dollars; the December 2023 futures settlement price of Brent crude oil on the London Intercontinental Exchange was 87.41 US dollars per barrel, down 0.04 US dollars, or 0.05 percent, from the previous trading day. The trading range 87.4-88.61 US dollars. London Intercontinental Exchange Brent crude oil futures in December 2023 ended, and the January 2014 futures settlement price was $85.02 per barrel, down $1.33, or 1.54 per cent, from the previous day, with a trading range of $84.77-$87.39.
Some analysts say it is difficult to see a significant and sustained rise in oil prices without supply disruptions in the Middle East.
Silver ten bleak end, a variety of chemical prices close.
In October 2023, commodity prices rose and fell in the chemical sector in the list of 21 commodities, of which 7 commodities rose by more than 5%, accounting for 6.2 of the number of commodities monitored in the sector; the top 3 commodities were aluminum fluoride (14.04 per cent), hydrofluoric acid (8.03 per cent) and butadiene (7.25 per cent).
A total of 88 commodities fell month-on-month, with a decline of more than 5 per cent, accounting for 36.3 per cent of the number of commodities monitored in the sector, while the top 3 products were hydrogen peroxide (-45.92 per cent), acetic acid (-33.45 per cent) and acetic anhydride (-21.23 per cent).
Silver ten's "tragic end" to the industry's lack of confidence, the industry's bearish sentiment is strong. Now the price increase letter has been sent to November, with an increase in maintenance and a regular start of autumn and winter pollution prevention and control inspections to provide the market with rising additives. However, due to insufficient downstream demand and the influence of international crude oil factors, market transactions are relatively conservative. It is expected that with the further escalation of the situation in Israel, Palestine, Russia and Ukraine, the energy sector will continue to rise. The recent sharp rise in natural gas indicates that the energy sector will most likely fluctuate greatly due to the war in the future. However, the impact of the war will also lead to limited terminal demand and limited increase in raw materials.
More than 5000 downstream enterprises went bankrupt.
Under the shrinking domestic market and the sharp decline in export data, domestic industrial manufacturing enterprises, as well as the automobile, furniture, home appliances, aluminum and other industries closely related to the real estate industry, have fallen into the abyss. In the end, corporate executives and related personnel will also bear the blame of "Laolai", and entrepreneurial travel and even high consumption will be restricted.
In the real estate industry, in the first six months of 2023, a total of 106 real estate enterprises nationwide issued bankruptcy documents. The top four provinces with the largest number of bankrupt real estate enterprises are Zhejiang, Guangdong, Xinjiang and Hunan, all with more than 10.
In the automotive industry, as of September 2023, the number of passenger car companies was 64, 18 fewer than at the beginning of the year. In the SUV segment, China's auto market recorded sales of 328 models in September 2023, down 36 from the beginning of the year.
In the retail market, at least 4181 physical stores in the first half of 2023 failed to enter the second half of the year, including 692 supermarket convenience stores, 14 department stores, 1851 clothing, 564 catering-related and 1060 other industries.
