Potassium dihydrogen phosphate, an inorganic compound, appears as a white crystalline or amorphous white powder, easily soluble in water. The aqueous solution is slightly alkaline and slightly soluble in alcohols. It has hygroscopicity and self dissolves at high temperatures. At a relative density of 2.338204 ℃, the molecules undergo dehydration and conversion to potassium pyrophosphate. The pH value of a 1% aqueous solution is 8.9. Mainly used in medicine, fermentation, bacterial culture, and the production of potassium pyrophosphate.
application area
1. Mainly used in the pharmaceutical industry as a culture agent for penicillin and streptomycin, it can also be used as a de iron agent for talc powder and a pH regulator.
2. Used as a water quality treatment agent and a cultivation agent for microorganisms and fungi.
3. The food industry uses alkaline water as a raw material, fermentation agent, seasoning agent, leavening agent, mild alkaline agent for dairy products, yeast feed, and sometimes it is added to milk tea powder. It can also be used as a feed additive.
4. Used as a buffering agent in chemical analysis, for phosphating of metals, and as an additive in electroplating.
Packaging, Storage, Transportation, and Safety
Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. The storage temperature should not exceed 37 ° C. It should be stored separately from oxidants and edible chemicals, and should not be mixed (prohibited substances refer to Part 10). Keep the container sealed. Stay away from sources of fire and heat. The warehouse must be equipped with lightning protection devices.
