Potassium borohydride is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula KBH4. It is a white crystalline powder that is stable in air and has no hygroscopicity. Potassium borohydride is easily soluble in water, soluble in liquid ammonia, slightly soluble in methanol and ethanol, and almost insoluble in ether, benzene, tetrahydrofuran, methyl ether, and other hydrocarbons.
