Basic information
Potassium fluoride, is an inorganic salt, chemical formula for KF, white crystalline powder, salty, hygroscopic, soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol.
Application areas
1. Used for glass carving, food anti-corrosion, electroplating;
2. It can be used as welding flux, insecticide, catalyst, absorbent (absorb HF and moisture), etc;
3, used as an analytical reagent, complex forming agent. It is also the raw material for making potassium hydrogen fluoride;
4. It can be used as a fluorinating agent for organic compounds.
Packaging, transportation and safety
Operation Precautions:
Closed operation, local exhaust. Operators must be specially trained and strictly abide by the operating procedures. It is recommended that the operator wear a hood-type electric air-supply filter dust-proof respirator, tape anti-toxic clothing, and latex gloves. Avoid creating dust. Avoid contact with acids. Handle and unload lightly to prevent damage to packaging and containers. Equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment. Empty containers may leave harmful substances.
Storage Precautions:
Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat source. The packaging is sealed. Should be stored separately with acids, edible chemicals, avoid mixed storage. The storage area shall be provided with suitable materials to contain spills.
