Basic information
Solid product is white granular or block, white shiny crystal. Stable in air. At 86.5 ℃, some crystal water is lost, and all crystal water is lost at 250 ℃. expands violently when heated and turns into a spongy substance. When burned to red heat, it decomposes into sulfur trioxide and aluminum oxide. It weaves when the relative humidity is about 25% lower. Soluble in water, almost insoluble in ethanol, the solution is acidic. After boiling for a long time, insoluble alkaline salt precipitates. Relative density 1.62. Iron-free aluminum sulfate is a widely used industrial reagent, often confused with alum (I. e. potassium aluminum sulfate dodecahydrate). Aluminum sulfate is usually used as a flocculant, used in the purification of drinking water and sewage treatment equipment, but also used in the paper industry.

Use:
Aluminum sulfate is mainly used as paper sizing agent and drinking water, industrial water and wastewater treatment flocculant, or the production of artificial gems and other aluminum salts, such as ammonia alum, potassium alum, refined aluminum sulfate raw materials. In addition, aluminum sulfate is also widely used in high-quality clarification agent, oil deodorizing agent, concrete waterproofing agent, senior paper forging white, titanium dioxide film treatment and catalyst carrier production.
Packaging, transportation and safety
Storage: The package shall be complete at the time of shipment and the loading shall be safe. During transportation, ensure that the container does not leak, collapse, fall or damage.
