Sodium thiosulfate

Sodium thiosulfate, also known as baking soda or seaweed. It is a white crystalline powder of monoclinic crystal system, easily soluble in water and insoluble in alcohol. Used for analyzing reagents, etc., with a wide range of applications. Chemical formula: Na2S2O3, specific gravity 1.667, is oxidized and decomposed into sodium sulfate and sulfur dioxide when heated in air. Specific gravity 1.667, easily decomposed upon heating, into sodium sulfate and sulfur or sodium sulfate and sodium polysulfide, while being oxidized by oxygen. Sodium thiosulfate decomposes with acid, releasing sulfur dioxide gas and producing sulfur precipitation. Heating in air oxidizes and decomposes into sodium sulfate

Packaging, Storage, Transportation, and Safety
packing

Packaged in PVC lined plastic bags or plastic woven bags, with a net weight of 40 kilograms per bag.
Packaged in burlap bags, fiberglass woven bags or wooden barrels, lined with plastic bags. Each bag (barrel) has a net weight of 25 kilograms or 50 kilograms.

Handing Information

It should be stored in a cool and dry warehouse. During transportation, exposure to sunlight and rain should be avoided. Do not store or mix with acids or oxidants during transportation. The container must be sealed to prevent moisture and melting. If the packaging is damp, it indicates that the contents have undergone deliquescence and must be stacked separately from the dry packaging. Do not store outdoors, and handle damp packaging promptly. Water and sand can be used to extinguish a fire.
There may be 500g/bottle in plastic bottles, and black or white bottles.
