Nicotinamide (nicotinamide;niacinamide), also known as nicotinamide, is the amide compound of nicotinic acid. A white crystalline powder; odorless or almost odorless, bitter in taste; slightly hygroscopic. Soluble in water or ethanol, soluble in glycerol.
