Basic information
Chromium trioxide is an inorganic compound, chemical formula CrO3, dark red or dark purple crystalline powder, soluble in water, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, ethanol, ether, acetic acid, acetone, mainly used in electroplating industry, pharmaceutical industry, printing industry, tanning leather and fabric mordant dyeing.

Operation Precautions:
Closed operation, strengthen ventilation. Operators must be specially trained and strictly abide by the operating procedures. It is recommended that the operator wear self-priming filter dust mask, chemical safety goggles, polyethylene protective clothing and rubber gloves. Keep away from fire and heat sources. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the workplace. Keep away from flammable and combustible materials. Avoid creating dust. Avoid contact with reducing agent and active metal powder. Handle and unload lightly to prevent damage to packaging and containers. Equipped with corresponding types and quantities of fire fighting equipment and leakage emergency treatment equipment. Empty containers may leave harmful substances.
Storage Precautions:
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse. The temperature of the warehouse shall not exceed 35 ℃ and the relative humidity shall not exceed 75%. The package must be sealed to avoid moisture. It should be stored separately from easily (combustible) substances, reducing agents, active metal powders and edible chemicals, and should not be stored in mixed storage. The storage area shall be provided with suitable materials to contain spills. The "five pairs" management system for extremely toxic substances should be strictly implemented.
