Packaging, transportation and safety
Packing:Small open steel barrels; Ordinary wooden cases outside ampoules; Ordinary wooden cases outside threaded glass bottles, iron cap pressure glass bottles, plastic bottles or metal barrels (cans).
Transport notes:During transportation, the transportation vehicles shall be equipped with corresponding types and quantities of fire-fighting equipment and leakage emergency treatment equipment. It is best to transport early and late in summer. The tank (tank) truck used in transportation shall be provided with grounding chain, and the hole partition plate can be set in the tank to reduce static electricity generated by vibration. It is strictly prohibited to mix with oxidizing agents, reducing agents, alkalis, edible chemicals, etc. During transportation, it shall be protected from sun exposure, rain and high temperature. Stopover should be away from fire, heat, high temperature zone. The exhaust pipe of the vehicle carrying the goods must be equipped with fire retardant device, and it is forbidden to use mechanical equipment and tools that are easy to produce sparks for loading and unloading. Road transportation shall be carried out according to the prescribed route, and do not stop in residential areas and densely populated areas. It is forbidden to slip away during railway transportation. It is strictly prohibited to use wooden ships and cement ships for bulk transportation.
Storage Precautions:Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat source. The temperature of the warehouse should not exceed 26 ℃. Keep container sealed. It should be stored separately from oxidizing agent, reducing agent and alkali, and mixed storage should not be allowed. Explosion-proof lighting and ventilation facilities shall be adopted. It is forbidden to use mechanical equipment and tools that are easy to produce sparks. The storage area should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment and suitable containment materials.
Operation Precautions:Closed operation, full ventilation. Operators must be specially trained and strictly abide by the operating procedures. It is recommended that the operator wear a filtering gas mask (half mask), wear safety protective glasses, wear anti-static work clothes, wear rubber oil-resistant gloves. Keep away from fire and heat sources. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the workplace. Use explosion-proof ventilation systems and equipment. Prevent vapor leakage into the workplace air. Avoid contact with oxidizing agents, reducing agents and alkalis. When filling, the flow rate should be controlled, and there is a grounding device to prevent static accumulation. Handle and unload lightly to prevent damage to packaging and containers. Equipped with corresponding types and quantities of fire fighting equipment and leakage emergency treatment equipment. Empty containers may leave harmful substances.
Health Hazards:
Acute poisoning mainly for the central nervous system anesthesia, fatigue, nausea, headache, dizziness, irritable. Severe vomiting, short of breath, convulsions, and even coma. Irritating to eyes, nose and throat. After oral administration, there is a burning sensation in the lips and throat, followed by dry mouth, vomiting, coma, acidosis and ketosis. Chronic effects: long-term exposure to the product may cause vertigo, burning sensation, pharyngitis, bronchitis, fatigue, irritable, etc. Long-term repeated contact with the skin can cause dermatitis.
First aid measures:
Skin contact: remove contaminated clothing and rinse skin thoroughly with soap and water.
Eye contact: Lift the eyelid and flush with flowing water or normal saline. Seek medical attention.
Inhalation: quickly leave the scene to fresh air. Keep the respiratory tract unobstructed. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If breathing stops, give artificial respiration immediately. Seek medical attention.
Intake: Drink plenty of warm water to induce vomiting. Seek medical attention.
Hazardous characteristics:
Its vapor and air can form an explosive mixture, and it is easy to burn and explode in case of open flame and high heat. Can react strongly with oxidants. Its vapor is heavier than air and can spread to a considerable distance at a lower point, and it will catch fire and backburn in case of a fire source. In case of high heat, the internal pressure of the container increases, and there is a risk of cracking and explosion.
Hazardous combustion products: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide.
Fire extinguishing method:
Move the container from the fire to the open as much as possible. Spray water to keep the fire container cool until the end of the fire. Containers in a fire scene that have discolored or produced sound from the safety pressure relief device must be evacuated immediately. Fire extinguishing agent: anti-soluble foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder, sand. Fire extinguishing with water is ineffective.
Emergency treatment for leakage:
Quickly evacuate the personnel from the leakage pollution area to the safety area, isolate them and strictly restrict the access. Cut off the fire source. It is recommended that emergency personnel wear self-contained positive pressure breathing apparatus and anti-static overalls. Cut off the leak source as much as possible. Prevent from flowing into restricted spaces such as sewers and flood drainage ditches. Small amount of leakage: adsorption or absorption with sand or other non-combustible materials. It can also be washed with a large amount of water and diluted with washing water into the waste water system. Large leakage: build embankments or dig pits to contain. Cover with foam to reduce steam disasters. Transfer to tanker or special collector with explosion-proof pump, recycle or transport to waste treatment site for disposal.
