Xylene is moderately toxic and has a certain carcinogenicity. It is harmful to people and should be avoided in life.

Emergency treatment of leakage

Protective measures
Respiratory protection: When the concentration in the air is high, wear a filtering gas mask (half mask). In case of emergency rescue or evacuation, it is recommended to wear air respirator.

Hand protection: wear rubber gloves.

First aid measures
Skin contact: remove contaminated clothing and rinse skin thoroughly with soap and water.

Inhalation: quickly leave the scene to fresh air. Keep the respiratory tract unobstructed. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If breathing stops, give artificial respiration immediately. Seek medical attention.
