95% alcohol can be used to wipe UV lamps. This type of alcohol is commonly used in hospitals, but in households it is only used for cleaning camera lenses.
70% to 75% alcohol can be used for disinfection. If the alcohol concentration is too high, a protective film will form on the surface of the bacteria, preventing them from entering the bacterial body and making it difficult to completely kill the bacteria. If the alcohol concentration is too low, although it can enter bacteria, it cannot coagulate the proteins in their bodies, nor can it completely kill bacteria. Therefore, 75% alcohol has a better disinfection effect.
40% to 50% alcohol can be used to prevent bedsores. Long term bed rest can cause pressure ulcers on the back, waist, and buttocks of patients. For example, when massaging, pouring a small amount of 40% to 50% alcohol into the hands and evenly massaging the affected area can promote local blood circulation and prevent the formation of pressure ulcers.
25% to 50% alcohol can be used for physical cooling. High fever patients can use it to wipe their bodies to achieve the purpose of cooling down. Wiping the skin with alcohol can dilate the blood vessels of the patient's skin, increase the skin's heat dissipation ability, absorb heat through alcohol evaporation, lower the surface temperature of the patient's body, and relieve symptoms.

Organic solvents
Ethanol is miscible with water and most organic solvents, and is widely used as a solvent for organic chemical reactions, adhesives, nitro spray paints, varnishes, cosmetics, inks, paint removers, etc.
Ethanol is also a commonly used solvent in liquid formulations, used in mixtures, tinctures, and injections. Ethanol has a lower polarity than water and can dissolve moderately polar, weakly polar, and non-polar components in traditional Chinese medicine, such as alkaloids and their salts, glycosides, volatile oils, resins, tannins, organic acids, and lipophilic pigments. Traditional Chinese medicine commonly uses alcohol to make medicinal wine and administer traditional Chinese medicine to maximize the effectiveness of the medication; It also utilizes its anti-corrosion effect for storing and preserving items.  
Due to the solubility of pigments in chloroplasts in anhydrous ethanol, it is commonly used in biology to extract pigments from chloroplasts using anhydrous ethanol.
 
Automotive fuel

Ethanol can be used as a standalone automotive fuel or mixed with gasoline as a blended fuel. Adding 5% to 20% fuel ethanol to gasoline to produce ethanol gasoline can reduce the air pollution caused by automobile exhaust. In addition, ethanol can also be added as an anti knock agent to gasoline to replace tetraethyl lead.

Transportation method

During railway transportation, the dangerous goods loading table in the "Dangerous Goods Transport Rules" of the Ministry of Railways should be strictly followed for loading. When transported separately, ensure that the container does not leak, collapse, fall, or damage during transportation. Transport vehicles should be equipped with corresponding types and quantities of fire-fighting equipment during transportation. It is strictly prohibited to transport and mix with acids, flammable materials, organic substances, oxidants, self igniting materials, and flammable materials when wet. During transportation, the speed should not be too fast and overtaking is not allowed by force. Transport vehicles should be thoroughly cleaned and washed before and after loading and unloading, and it is strictly prohibited to mix organic matter. Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Stay away from sources of fire and heat. The storage temperature shall not exceed 30 ℃, and the relative humidity shall not exceed 80%. The packaging requires sealing and must not come into contact with air. It should be stored separately from reducing agents, active metal powders, acids, and edible chemicals, and avoid mixing storage. The storage area should be equipped with suitable materials to contain leaked materials.
Store in a cool and ventilated room. Stay away from sources of fire and heat. The temperature inside the warehouse should not exceed 30 ℃. Protect from direct sunlight. Keep the container sealed. It should be stored separately from oxidants. The lighting, ventilation and other facilities in the storage room should be explosion-proof, and the switches should be located outside the warehouse. Equip with corresponding types and quantities of fire-fighting equipment. The stacking of barrels should not be too large, and wall spacing, top spacing, column spacing, and necessary fire inspection walkways should be left. Fire and explosion prevention measures should be taken when storing tanks. Outdoor storage tanks should have cooling measures in summer. Prohibit the use of mechanical equipment and tools that are prone to generating sparks. When filling, attention should be paid to the flow rate (not exceeding 3m/s), and there should be a grounding device to prevent static electricity accumulation.
