Acetic anhydride is an important acetylation reagent used in the production of cellulose acetate, acetate plastics, and non combustible film; In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used to manufacture synthetic drugs such as streptozotocin, tebuconazole, caffeine and aspirin, sulfonamide drugs, etc; In the dye industry, it is mainly used to produce dispersed deep blue HCL, dispersed bright red S-SWEL, dispersed yellow brown S-2REL, etc; Used in the spice industry for the production of coumarin, bornyl acetate, musk, cedarwood acetate, phenethyl acetate, geranyl acetate, etc; Acetyl peroxide, produced from acetic anhydride, is an initiator and bleaching agent in polymerization reactions. Used for testing alcohols, aromatic primary and secondary amines; Used in organic synthesis, dyes, pharmaceutical industry, and manufacturing of acetyl compounds.
