PTA terephthalic acid

Terephthalic acid, also known as p-phthalic acid, is a high-yield dicarboxylic acid mainly produced from p-xylene and is the main raw material for producing polyester. Solid at room temperature. Heating does not melt, sublimates above 300 ℃. If heated in a closed container, it can melt at 425 ℃. Difficult to dissolve in water at room temperature. Mainly used for manufacturing synthetic polyester resins, synthetic fibers, plasticizers, etc.

Packaging, Storage, Transportation, and Safety

During product transportation, it is necessary to prevent fire, moisture, and static electricity. When handling bagged products, they should be loaded and unloaded gently to prevent packaging damage; During the loading and unloading operation of tank trucks, attention should be paid to controlling the loading and unloading speed to prevent the generation of static electricity. It should be stored in a cool, ventilated, and dry warehouse, away from sources of fire and heat. It should be stored separately from oxidants and acidic or alkaline substances, and protected from direct sunlight and rain. It should not be stacked outdoors.
 
 
Packaging and storage bagged products are packaged in bags lined with plastic film, with a net weight of 1000 ± 2kg per bag. The packaging bag should be printed with the manufacturer's name, address, trademark, product name, grade, batch number, net weight, and standard code. Stainless steel tank trucks can also be used for transportation. Before loading, the tank truck should be checked for cleanliness and dryness. After loading, the feeding port should be sealed and lead sealed.


 Precautions for use: This substance belongs to the low toxicity category and has a certain irritant effect on the skin and mucous membranes. For allergy sufferers, exposure to this product can cause rash and bronchitis. The maximum allowable concentration in the air is 0.1mg/m3. Operators should wear protective equipment.
