N-hexane
N-hexane, also known as hexane, is a straight chain saturated fatty hydrocarbon obtained by crude oil cracking and distillation, and is a colorless liquid with a weak and distinctive odor. It is volatile, almost insoluble in water, and easily soluble in chloroform, ether, and ethanol. Mainly used as solvents, such as vegetable oil extraction solvents, propylene polymerization solvents, rubber and coating solvents, and pigment diluents. Used for extracting oils and fats from various edible oils and spices such as soybeans, rice bran, and cottonseeds. In addition, n-hexane isomerization is one of the important processes for producing high octane gasoline blending components.
Trichloroethylene

Difficult to dissolve in water, soluble in ethanol, ether, etc. Trichloroethylene is a flammable liquid that poses a risk of fire and explosion when exposed to open flames and high heat. Trichloroethylene has been used as an analgesic and metal degreaser, as an extractant, fungicide, refrigerant, and as a dry cleaning agent for clothes. This substance is composed of three elements: carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. Colorless liquid with a smell similar to chloroform. Molecular formula C2-H-Cl3. Molecular weight 131.39. Relative density 1.4649 (20/4 ℃). Melting point -73 ℃. Boiling point 86.7 ℃. Flash point 32.22 ℃ (closed cup). The self ignition point is 420 ℃. The vapor density is 4.53. The vapor pressure is 13.33kPa (100mmHg at 32 ℃). The flammable limit of the mixture formed by steam and air is 8.0% to 10.5%.
