Dichloroethane
Dichloroethane (chemical formula: C2H4Cl2;Cl(CH2)2Cl, formula quantity: 98.97), I .e. 1,2-dichloroethane, is a kind of halogenated hydrocarbon, commonly expressed as EDC. Colorless or light yellow transparent liquid melting point -35.7 ℃, boiling point 83.5 ℃, density 1.235 g/cm, flash point 17 ℃. Insoluble in water is mainly used as an intermediate in the preparation process of vinyl chloride (polyvinyl chloride monomer), and is also used as a solvent. It is a colorless liquid with a chloroform-like odor at room temperature. It is toxic and potentially carcinogenic. Possible solvent alternatives include 1,3-dioxane and toluene. Used as a solvent and manufacturing, trichloroethane intermediates. Used as a solvent for wax, fat, rubber, etc. and as a grain insecticide.
Hexadecanol
Cetyl alcohol, generally refers to 1-cetyl alcohol, density: 0.834g/cm3, melting point: 43-46 c (lit.), boiling point 135 c 1mm Hg(lit.), flash point 111.3 c, refractive index 1.447, vapor pressure 4.14 E-05mmHg at 25 c.
Sorbitol
Sorbitol, also known as sorbitol, is the main photosynthesis product of Rosaceae plants. White hygroscopic powder or crystalline powder, flake or granule, odorless. Depending on the crystallization conditions, the melting point varies in the range of 88~102 ℃, and the relative density is about 1.49. It is freely soluble in water (1g in about 0.45mL of water) and slightly soluble in ethanol and acetic acid. It has a cool sweet taste, the sweetness is about half of that of sucrose, and the calorific value is similar to that of sucrose. It will not cause dental caries when used as a sweetener. In the food industry, the content of sorbitol is 69 ~ 71%.
Diethylene glycol
Diethylene glycol (Diethylene glycol), a polyol, chemical formula C4H10O3, colorless, odorless, transparent, hygroscopic viscous liquid, has a spicy sweet taste, non-corrosive, low toxicity.
Polyethylene Glycol
Dipropylene glycol
Dipropylene glycol is an odorless, colorless, sweet, water-soluble and hygroscopic liquid at room temperature. Soluble in water and toluene, miscible in methanol, ether, with a spicy sweet taste, non-corrosive. Very little irritation to the skin and very low toxicity. Combustible in case of open flame and high heat. It can form an explosive mixture with air. It is suitable for flavor, fragrance and cosmetics, which are sensitive to odor.
Methanol
Methanol (Methanol) is an organic compound commonly used as a solvent, antifreeze, fuel, or neutralizer. Methanol is a saturated monohydric alcohol with simple methanol system structure. CAS numbers are 67-56-1 and 170082-17-4, with 32.04 molecular weight and boiling point of 64.7 ℃. Methanol high volatility, colorless, flammable, toxic, drink 5~10 ml can be blind, a large number of drinking will lead to death. Methanol is usually produced by reacting carbon monoxide with hydrogen.
Alcohol consumption (95% ethanol)
Edible alcohol (Edible Alcohol), also known as fermented distilled liquor, mainly uses potatoes, cereals, sugars as raw materials through cooking, saccharification, fermentation and other processing for the food industry to use aqueous alcohol, its flavor characteristics are divided into color, aroma, taste, body four parts, that is, refers to the distilled liquor in the aldehyde, acid, ester, alcohol these four major impurities content, different flavors and gases make the flavor of distilled spirits different.
Absolute ethanol
Absolute ethanol (Ethanol absolute), refers to the higher purity of ethanol aqueous solution, is a mixture of ethanol and water. In general, the concentration of 99.5 ethanol solution for absolute ethanol.
