Glycerol (glycerol)
Colorless, sweet, clear, viscous liquid. Odorless. It has a warm and sweet taste. Commonly known as glycerol, it can absorb moisture from the air and also absorb hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen cyanide, and sulfur dioxide. Neutral to litmus. Long term exposure to low temperatures of 0 ℃ can form shiny rhombohedral crystals with a melting point of 17.8 ℃. Encountering strong oxidants such as chromium trioxide, potassium chlorate, and potassium permanganate can cause combustion and explosion. It can be mixed with water and ethanol at will. 1 part of this product can dissolve in 11 parts of ethyl acetate and about 500 parts of ether, but is insoluble in benzene, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, carbon disulfide, petroleum
N-Octanol
Colorless liquid. There is a strong pungent odor. Density 0.83. Refractive index 1.430. Melting point -16 ℃. Boiling point 196 ℃. Not miscible with water, but miscible with ethanol, ether, and chloroform. It is used for making essence and cosmetics, as well as solvent, antifoam agent, plasticizer, antifreeze, lubricant additive, etc. It is a byproduct of producing lauric acid from coconut oil. It can also be obtained by catalytic controlled polymerization of ethylene, followed by hydrolysis and separation.
Isooctanol
Mainly used as a raw material for PVC plasticizers. Used as a solvent and preservative. Octanol is mainly used in the production of phthalate esters and aliphatic diester plasticizers such as dioctyl phthalate, dioctyl azelairate, and dioctyl sebacate. It is used as the main plasticizer and cold resistant auxiliary plasticizer for plastics, defoamer, dispersant, mineral processing agent, and petroleum filler, and is also used in printing and dyeing, painting, film, and other fields.
Isobutanol
Isobutanol is an organic compound with the chemical formula C4H10O. It is flammable, irritating, colorless and transparent liquid with a special odor. It is easily soluble in ethanol and ether.
Imported LG Neopentyl Glycol from South Korea
It is mainly used to produce unsaturated resin, polyester powder coating, oil-free alkyd resin, polyurethane foam plastic, i.e. plasticizer of elastomer, synthetic plasticizer, surfactant, insulating material, printing ink, polymerization inhibitor, synthetic aviation lubricant oil additive, etc. In addition, it has also been applied in the pharmaceutical industry. Meanwhile, neopentyl glycol is also an excellent solvent for the selective separation of aromatic hydrocarbons and cyclic hydrocarbons.
Ethylene glycol butyl ether
Colorless flammable liquid with a moderate ether odor. Product use: Used as a solvent for coatings, printing inks, stamp pad inks, oils, resins, metal detergents, paint removers, lubricant removers, automotive engine detergents, dry cleaning solvents, epoxy resin solvents, drug extractants, etc; Used as a stabilizer for latex paint, an evaporation inhibitor for aircraft coatings, and for surface processing of high-temperature baked enamel paint. Inhalation of this vapor can cause respiratory irritation and liver and kidney damage. Steam is irritating to the eyes and skin contact can cause dermatitis. This product is flammable, toxic, and irritating.
Propylene glycol
1,3-propanediol is a chemical substance with the molecular formula C3H8O2. It can undergo oxidation and esterification reactions, is miscible with water, and can be miscible with ethanol and ether. It is widely used as an organic solvent in industrial production. Can be used for the synthesis of various drugs, new polyester PTT, pharmaceutical intermediates, and new antioxidants.
ethanol
Ethanol, an organic compound with the molecular formula C2H6O and the structural formula CH3CH2OH or C2H5OH, commonly known as alcohol, is a common monobasic alcohol. Ethanol is a flammable, volatile, colorless and transparent liquid at room temperature and pressure, with low toxicity. Pure liquids should not be consumed directly; Has a special fragrance and a slight irritation; Slightly sweet, accompanied by a stimulating spicy taste. Flammable, its vapor can form explosive mixtures with air and can dissolve with water in any ratio. Can be miscible with chloroform, ether, methanol, acetone, and most other organic solvents, with a relative density (d15.56) of 0.816.
